J. Julian Lopez, M.D. came to the Quad City area to join a medical community impassioned and committed to improving the lives of its residents. In the summer of 2011, he began seeing patients at Gastroenterology Consultants after more than 20 years of private practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Lopez prides himself on being knowledgeable, competent, compassionate and committed to improving the gastrointestinal health of his patients. “In addition to being highly proficient in evaluating and treating liver and digestive diseases, I have particularly advanced expertise in biliary and pancreatic diseases. J. Julian Lopez, M.D. graduated with a BS in Biology from Stanford University before returning to his birthplace to begin his medical education. He completed the MD program at University of New Mexico, Albuquerque and a residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. After completion of his residency, he continued on at Tulane University and their affliated hospitals while completing his Gastroenteology fellowship. After spending some time in an acedemic setting, Dr. Lopez found a home in Las Vegas where he established himself in private practice.
