The facility has been carefully planned with patient convenience and satisfaction in mind. The Surgicenter has been developed with nine operating rooms. Being state licensed and Medicare certified, we are meeting the highest possible standards for a surgery center, and we are equipped with the latest medical equipment. Health care cost is an important concern, and private surgical facilities can help to control these costs. In addition to giving our patients quality low cost care, our facility reduces paper mistakes and costly billing errors because we utilize pre-established fees. This type of rate schedule is more efficient for the patient and insurance carriers. The Regional Surgicenter, Ltd., will submit your insurance claim for you. This claim will be sent to your carrier separately from the doctor's fee. A patient statement will be sent to you after the insurance reimbursement has been received. The physician performing the service will be submitting a bill for his/her services. This will be submitted separately from The Regional Surgicenter, Ltd., billing. Pathology If you have any tissue removed for pathology, the pathologist reading the results will be submitting a separate bill for his services. Insurance If the necessary information is provided to the office, our facility will submit your insurance claims for you on behalf of Gastroentrology Consultants, S.C., Regional Surgicenter, Ltd. and Valley View Anesthesia. We will do our best to obtain payment for these services. If all our attempts fail, it is the sole responsibility of the patient to provide reimbursement to the physician and facility.
